Since our last news article we have visited Scotland's West and North West coasts,including the Islands of Mull and Iona, the Lakes in late summer and Jersey in November. The North west coast of Scotland just below Ullapool has a wealth of beautiful scenery including beaches with soft white sand and the majestic mountains of the Torridons. The weather is often milder here than the rest of Scotland, due to the Gulf Stream, whose absence has apparently been the reason for our miserable wet summer this year. However it gave us lovely weather for our trip in October so we're not complaining too much! See our new pictures
