A place where East meets West... its place in history and its modern-day function as a 'stopover' enroute to the Antipodes makes it a bustling metropolis. We haven't been to a city before where we didn't want to ( or rather couldn't) leave the hotel or mall that we were in. That was because as soon as we left the air-conditioned interior the cameras steamed up making them unusable for at least 15mins until they climatised to the incredible humidity!
