The Canadian Rockies dominate our pictures here because we think they epitomise the country. You cannot beat your first view of Moraine lake with its intense turquoise blue colour and the snow capped mountains behind. The route from Banff to Jasper can be covered in a day but we took nearly 3 weeks and in those three weeks we had the amazing autumn colours, the first snows and saw some of the worlds most incredible scenery. To get top pictures you have to wait for the light and it was an amazing place to 'wait'.
