Liverpool has undergone some incredible changes in the last 10 years - buildings have been restored and cleaned, some razed to the ground and modern replacements built. It will be the City of Culture in 2008.
On Crosby beach some 100+ metal statues have been buried in the sand. 'Another Place' by the Angel of the North sulptor Antony Gormley is remaining here for the foreseeable future. Try taking pictures at dusk with the setting sun, and the backlit stark statues almost look real.
